The National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) has been awarding grants to safeguard the UK’s most important heritage since 1980. In our 40th anniversary year, we are proud to continue this legacy.
As a fund of last resort, NHMF helps to save some of our most-loved treasures from being lost forever, creating a UK-wide memorial in honour of those who have given their lives to the country.
NHMF has helped to save thousands of iconic heritage treasures for the nation including The Flying Scotsman, Henry VIII’s flagship Mary Rose and the Staffordshire Hoard.
